DESPORTIVOS is a NATIONAL LEVEL SPORTS MEET of ‘The LNM Institute of Information Technology’ is about to unfold its third edition from 2-4th November 2012. The LNM Institute of Information Technology, a Deemed University, is a public-private partnership University jointly set-up by the Government of Rajasthan and the Lakshmi & Usha Mittal Foundation.
Desportivos, attracts a wide spectrum of the youth of the country with a total footfall of over 5,000 students during the 3 days of the fest. The fest incorporates a wide range of outdoor as well as indoor sports activities like cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball, football, table tennis, chess, and carom.A competition encompassing these tournaments with a vision to create synergy is the intent of the fest.
This year’s edition of Desportivos also includes KARATE event, making The LNMIIT as the first Institute to do so.
DESPORTIVOS in association with ABC SOCIETY and DE ALCHEMIST-TOUCHING LIVES brings PARALYMPICS, no boundary to human endeavor. it aims at providing sporting exposure to the physically disabled children. We invite you all to be a part of the PARALYMPICS and support the cause.
Apart from these, Desportivos also includes LAN gaming and fun activities like gully cricket and street football and PAINTBALL. Every year it is our ardent desire to make the fest bigger and better and with the same vision the 3 day Fest is scheduled to kick start from 2nd November, 2012.
