A new HTC Android smartphone, Desire 200 ,targeted at the budget segment, has made an online appearance in a video even before its launch.
The phone features a 3.5-inch LCD screen that has a resolution of 320×480 pixels. It’s powered by a 1GHz single-core processor and will have 512MB of RAM. It will come with 4GB internal storage expandable via microSD card and a 1400 mAh battery. The rear camera on the phone would have a 5-megapixel resolution and does not appear to come with a flash. The phone in the video runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but it’s expected that it would come with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) or later when it launches. It will feature HTC’s Sense UI layer on top.
The phone’s earpiece resembles the HTC One’s front speaker grills. It has three capacitive touch buttons below the screen like most recent HTC phones. The phone’s back looks similar to that of the HTC Desire C. It will also feature Beats Audio as apparent from the branding at the back.
